Only have this issue with the 75’s… the polymer cz’s, glocks, Springfield all are fine. My rounds are seated to 1.148 and drop in and spin freely in all barrels, except the 75’s. They seem to go all the way in, but I’m not able to spin them.
Occasionally, the slide will not fully go into battery and cause me to have to slap the slide forward.

my loads shoot well and I hate to change it for these 2 picky guns, would aftermarket barrels solve this?

I would just seat the bullet a little deeper and try the plunk test again. The other option is to coat the case and bullet with a sharpie, chamber it, pull it out, and see exactly what is going on.

My one CZ is a little shorter leade than my other guns, except for my 9mm AR carbine that I have to really seat short for.

Known issue with the CZ75 design a small adjustment to a slightly deeper seating depth will take care of it and not effective your other guns IMHO.

I believe I loaded 1.125 for my 75.

It depends on the bullet , but i usually load to 1.100 oal if i recall. Its definetly shorter than most 9mm loads.

I load to 1.13 oal , still had occasional issues with range brass
I went to a Lee “U” full length size die - this is a very slightly undersized die. I have had zero issues since this change

I’ll go the other way, have the barrel throated so it shoots the ammo you prefer for every other gun.

I’ve got a 9mm AR carbine that I’ve seriously considered doing that, but I found a bullet and load that shoots so well and very accurate that I don’t want to mess it up. I make special loads just for that gun.

Agreed - the CZ is known to have tight chambers , but they are also known to shoot very tight groups.

Interestingly, my CZ75 fed every single type of factory 9mm I ever stuck in it. Most reliable gun ever. Tens of thousands of rounds.
EXCEPT aluminum case. It hated that crappy proletariat ammo.

Only when I started loading 150gn coated that I had to be aware of COAL.
But I’ve seen shorter chambers than mine. Tanfos also can have short chambers.
