The Ruger 10/22. We pretty much all have one (or 2). But being one of the most versatile rifles out there, it seems no 2 are the same. So let's post em up and see what's out there.

My Takedown model.

I've never seen these or don't remember seeing them before. Some beautiful rimfires you got there brother. I've had several 10/22 rifles over the years just have never held onto any of them. Soon as I got them fixed up the way I wanted them there was always someone who wanted them more so they got sold or traded. I keep rolling the idea around to build me another I just haven't got past the rolling it around stage. There's no doubt the 10/22 is iconic rimfire rifles and you can't really go wrong with owning them. And the aftermarket for the platform is so vast you can build them in so many different ways to fit each person. From the ultimate kids starter rifle all the way to nail driving competition rifles.

Thanx. Those Evolution stocks were probably more money than I should have spent. But between those stocks , the BX triggers, a Volquartsen bolt tune up kit, and of course the scopes, both of those rifles are supremely accurate. Tack drivers for sure.

My wife and I will have mini competitions that she usually wins. She's a better long gun shooter than me. I got her on pistols tho. šŸ˜†

I figured more folks would have posted, so I'll throw in a couple pics:

90's vintage 10/22
Reinhart-Fajen laminte stock (southpaw)
Butler Creek 20" fluted heavy barrel (also 90's vintage)
BSA 8-32x optic

This rifle went to Connecticut Precision Chambering many, many years ago and had a bunch of work performed. Bolt re-work, trigger job (about 2#), barrel set back/rechambered and threaded to receiver. No bedding, but the action is shimmed using foil tape and the barrel pad made with layers of rubber inner tube. Classic 90's accuracy mods!

This rifle likes Wolf MT the best, with groups coming in between .8-.9MOA

I have the same, serial number look up looks like 1979. I bought it used, wouldn't cycle. Replaced a bunch of parts, runs like a top. (No Pic)

My brother gave me a stainless 10/22 for Christmas. First gun anyone ever gave me. Itā€™s a long barrel one..22ā€ . Iā€™d never heard of one. I put a BX trigger in it.

Built this a few years ago. Ruger takedown receiver, Kidd bolt & bunch of parts, bx trigger, magpul stock in gray, tactical solutions fluted threaded bbl with silencerco sparrow. Initially I had a Romeo 5 on it but switched to a vortex rimfire 2-7 bc I wanted (& got) better accuracy. Very fun rifle

So how accurate is it? And at what distance? Sure looks good.
Iā€™ve never measured the group size but would honestly like to know. With CCI standard velocity it seems like this thing doesnā€™t miss. My fiancĆ©e was shooting it out to 350 at frontline and was ringing the small silhouette easily. I need to take the time to shoot it on paper and see what it actually groups.

This my oldest, plain Jane 10/22. I bought it used in 1980. And my newest one. Iā€™ve had it a year or two. Performance Center, all metal, laminate stock, with hammer forged threaded barrel and adjustable comb. Iā€™ve got a handful of 10/22s from takedowns to shooters in magpul stocks.image.jpg

A lightweight hunter I put together about 25 years ago. Butler Creek 16" lightweight barrel, trigger group made up of spare parts, cheap 4x28 Simmons rimfire scope and a Ruger synthetic stock to cut down on the weight from the old wood stock. The rear bolt radius has been changed and polished for better cycling using sub sonic ammo. Even with the cheap barrel and scope it will group less than 1" at 50 yards using plain old CCI SV. Plenty good enough for the hunting I do with it. It's a joy to carry hunting compared to my heavier rigs.
