Just a heads up that Perrys Gun Shop in Wendell NC (outside Raleigh) has a good bit of powder instock.
All 1lb containers are $55, saw 4lb for $205.
Their primers are $75 per 1000ct, BUT you have to buy 5lbs of powder first. IMG_20211220_114705_01.jpg

Do they have lube or should I bring my own?
Their gun prices are ok though...while a box of 6.5crd is $60 :/ but you gotta pay to play these days if you can't find what you need unfortunately and waiting isn't an option.

I bought from these guys recently. They still have some 1f in stock. 10+ pounds gets you %5 off i think:

Might be 10%, IIRC.

There is a lot of info out there on homemade BP, too. Fun to watch, mostly, and educational.

Free market - they can charge whatever the market will bear. The same thing happened 9 years ago. I made sure to stock up when prices were back to normal, just so I wouldn’t have to bear these kind of prices.

Yeah, I have a good bit of powder and thousands upon thousands of primed 9x19 cases. I should be able to last the drought, assuming it ever ends.

Will be doing the same IF things ever settle again. I did buy a few extra high cap mags as they were on the bubble. I remember the $120 glock mag days forever ago.

FGG has powder now but the selection is pretty limited. Last time I was there they had about 40 1lb cannisters of 4895 @ $40 each for example. Some other powders too. No primers that I saw.

FGG has their primers on GB for $120-$200 per 1000ct. A lot of their high demand stuff is on GB at high $$ premiums.

I remember back during January 2020 when stuff started hitting the fan and FGG had tens of thousands of CCI400 primers that were literally collecting the dust at $35/K. Needless to say, I alleviated them of that stock. 😬
