I know I'm a lurker and not really known to most of the community but I need your prayers tonight. My wife passed away unexpectedly this morning.

Hug your loved ones tighter and do all you can to see them right with the Lord.

Don't know why He needed her, the day he calls me home I'll ask and then stroll over Heaven with her again.

RIP my Angel, Bobbi T Chase, 1969-2018.

Richard

My heartfelt sympathies and prayers for you and your family Richard.

So sorry for your loss, prayers sent

Can't imagine bud. Consider it done.

Richard, I'm sorry to hear of your loss, prayers sent.

Glad to help, ten years younger then I.

I'm so sorry to read this. Way too young.

We're here for you, Richard.

All I can, and will do is offer my prayers, and peace to you.
I am so sorry for your loss.

I am very sorry for your loss. Far too young.

Richard, you have our warmest condolences and deepest sympathies. We will pray for you and the rest of your family.

We are not too far away, in Cary, so if we can be of any assistance, please do not hesitate to ask.

Thoughts and prayers for you and sorry to hear that.

Sorry that you lost her. Your heart is in the right place knowing that you will see her again.

Lord,

give Richard peace.

Give him understanding.

Give him comfort when he needs it most.

Amen.

May God comfort you and bless you. May He give you peace as you continue on. May He give you strength as you sort through your responsibilities these next few days and weeks.

Prayers up

I can't imagine the shock, pain, and grief you are experiencing. All I can do is offer prayers for her soul and that you have strength to endure.

Six hours from now will mark three days, have the viewing this afternoon and don't know how I'll get through it. Every minute is different, some agony, especially late at night.
I know God is there, but I don't feel his presence.
I, I, I, that's all this post seems to be about, my kids and grandkids and her mom hurt too, this isn't about me but all I want to think of is me.

There's nothing to be ashamed of Richard....It's a terribly painful thing to go through. My wife lost her brother (my best friend) a couple days before Christmas.....36 years old. She's seven years his junior and looked up to him her whole life.....they had a better brother/sister relationship then any other i've ever known. I've had my work cut out for me this past month as it shut her down pretty good, but I've gave her all the leeway she's needed and she's slowly starting to get back into her normal daily routine. Theres such a complicated back story to his life that i'd be typing all night to get to my next point, but to me God's presence and will have been evidenced by so very many rekindled relationships with old/ex family and friends as we came together to mourn his passing. Like you said in your original post, hug your loved ones tighter, but watch for His hand at work in their lives as you get through this together.

Thank you all for your prayers and support. We buried my bride this morning. Between the viewing and funeral there were over 200 who came to show their respects. Neither she nor I knew the enormous impact her life had.
My sister is marriage counselor and has given me a couple local places to get grief counseling. Will be calling them tomorrow morning.
God bless you all!

Six weeks ago today. The initial crushing grief has abated. Still waiting to feel God's presence, he has sent some hints--surprise visits and calls from family & friends at just the right moment. Have my third Griefshare meeting tonight, it has been a huge blessing.
Thank you all for your prayers.

I just saw this post....I am so very sorry to hear of your wife's passing. Praying for the peace that passes all understanding to take residence in your heart and fill you will all the wonderful memories y'all shared.
