Mom is supposed to go to the doctors office again this morning for a follow up. Hopefully she will show some improvement. She looks about the same to me.
My uncle is staying with her since he is sick too.
I checked on them yesterday due to nobody answering the phone. Both sleeping.
Dropped off some groceries, unplugged the toilet, and got bit by the dog.
 
Checked on mom first thing this morning. She was not hooked up to the oxygen generator. Her pulse/oxcimiter was missing a battery. She had a trash can by the bed, had dry heaves, couldn’t keep her thoughts straight. She had a temperature and was shaking pretty bad. Put batteries in the pulse/oximeter and her o2 was 74. Not good at all. Got rescue enroute and got her oxygen generator setup going. Her o2 improved to 90 and 91 in few minutes. Got her two hits on the inhaler and then back on the oxygen.
Rescue arrived under 10 minutes. I was impressed and relieved to say the least. She was admitted at the hospital and 12 hours later is a totally different person.
The antibiotics they prescribed her yesterday morning made her stomach upset. She couldn’t hold any food or liquid down. She got severely dehydrated and she went downhill from there.
She is now sitting up in bed and eating in the hospital. Her o2 is up to 96. It hasn’t been that good in years. They had her on an IV. I’m guessing for fluids and meds.
So mom is doing a lot better now.

Mom appears to be improving. She can keep food and liquids down. She can talk now and that’s a good thing. We had to cut off her phone and run all communication through me via text only to save her voice. Some folks got a bit butt hurt over that. Her o2 drops when she talks as well. Trying to keep that up as high as possible.
It’s hard to rest when your phone is ringing and a medical person is poking you 24/7.
Keeping everybody updated on a family group text. I’m texting like a teenager all day everyday.

The store sells but hurt cream everyday. Tell all those self absorbed individuals that can't stop thinking of themselves for a minute to get some and get over it. You did the right thing. Take care of your mom first and done give a second thought to them.
 
Brought mom home from the hospital yesterday. Obviously she is doing a lot better. She is pretty weak but that’s to be expected.
My sister brought over some human food. Mom really appreciated that.
Mom was so happy to see her dogs. The dogs were happy to see her. It took a while for them to calm down. They laid right up against her for the rest of the evening.
