Brother in law just crossed the river.🙁

He’s been fighting a battle with a rare form of melanoma for the last 5 years…Docs didn’t expect him to live as long as he did…said most folks with his form of cancer died within a year of diagnosis. He made it 4 years past that.

He fought hard and his fight’s over now.

Keep him, his wife and his two sons in your prayers if you will. Young dude…56.

Were were pretty tight. He and I both were fighting cancer at the same time.

Had his memorial service today.

Since the form of melanoma he had was so rare, one of the last acts he did before he died was donate his body to WFU Medical Center for research, so they can study the cancer he had and possibly come up with better ways to treat it.

When my sis-in-law told me what Brad had done, I was not shocked at all. If there was ever a “others before self” individual, it was Brad.

Tough day, but I consider myself fortunate to have known such a man.
