Brother in law just crossed the river.šŸ™

Heā€™s been fighting a battle with a rare form of melanoma for the last 5 yearsā€¦Docs didnā€™t expect him to live as long as he didā€¦said most folks with his form of cancer died within a year of diagnosis. He made it 4 years past that.

He fought hard and his fightā€™s over now.

Keep him, his wife and his two sons in your prayers if you will. Young dudeā€¦56.

Were were pretty tight. He and I both were fighting cancer at the same time.

prayers to you and family

Prayers for your family.

May your brother-in-law Rest In Peace, and prayer for the family they need to deal with the grief.

The Lord bless you and keep you all.

Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss, Shane

Had his memorial service today.

Get thisā€¦

Since the form of melanoma he had was so rare, one of the last acts he did before he died was donate his body to WFU Medical Center for research, so they can study the cancer he had and possibly come up with better ways to treat it.

When my sis-in-law told me what Brad had done, I was not shocked at all. If there was ever a ā€œothers before selfā€ individual, it was Brad.

Tough day, but I consider myself fortunate to have known such a man.

Fair winds and following seas, Sailorā€¦weā€™re gonna miss ya.
