I had the primer pocket eject from the Dillon 550 today while loading a few hundred 9mm of many and various headstamps. This one is a Blazer Brass. I have no idea of its history, since I generate too many empties and buy Midway once-fired assorted brass to keep records.
Yes, I be a lazy oaf.
Had I primed this case with my handheld, I think it would have looked just fine, since it doesn't have much mechanical advantage versus the Dillon. This happened at the top of the stroke during resizing/capping. The primer and its shell of the pocket dropped off the shellplate on the way to get powder.
First time for me to find one of these in over 150,000 rounds of 9mm. Anyone else ever experience this on a brass case?
