Protesting...nah, criminal activity is getting out of hand

I've tried to stay calm while hearing accounts of senseless violence perpetrated by looters and rioters across the country but this particular incident touched a nerve has pushed me close to my limit:



Watching scenes like this is forcing me to examine myself and perhaps my own prejudice and bias. I am trying to come to terms with this intense anger I apparently have deep inside me, and to do my best to remain calm and level headed during this sh*tshow.

As the kids say: I am officially triggered. Sigh...
 
1 vote for contractors to come in and finish this sh** once and for all. Looters bombers etc get 1 warning and then they get shot on sight :D

Lots of political manuvering going on behind the scenes or so it appears to me. The upcoming elections will be heavily influenced by the actions of both party's positions. I look for the Repubs to come up with some criminal action backed and funded by the Dems. So far the game is heavily slanted in the Dem's favor and the more this love fest continues the more the Repubs will have to restrain Trump from going full Stalinistic.

1, in my experience golf clubs bend too quickly to make good weapons.

2, how did that guy not try harder to get them off his wife?
 
What SHOULD have happened is the protesters police their own shit up. You see someone spray painting, busting windows, etc detain their ass and drag them to the cops. Here's the perp and here's the video sir. If they really wanted a peaceful protest THAT is what would happen. Will it? NOPE. Gotta get that live stream and them facebook likes, gotta watch that building burn, maybe grab some snacks or a new TV from that store that just "opened" As far as i'm concerned EVERY person down town Sat night was an accomplice, period. Rest assured lives have been ruined, years of hard work and long hours, erased. The working class gets the root yet again, I pray folks remember this come November.

I monitored the FPD comms a good portion of the day yesterday as well as a good number of live streams. I was actually impressed with how it was being handled/controlled. Right up until they decided to kneel. The FPD can bow down all they want, the only thing that gesture did was piss off the citizenry that really supported them. Yep, I used past tense. Once again they roll over and give in to demands. The screaming children got their lollypop and went home.

I'm sick and tired of my county/state/country being ripped to shreds and nothing being done about it. +2 Bring in the contractors.

Because he's as big of a chicken shit as the "photographer" that filmed it and didn't do anything... Shots would have rang out....
 
My boss lives in the southside of Chicago and he called last night at 11pm and was a noticeably scared. There were riots about two blocks from his house and cars were on fire and homes were being looted. He stayed up all night with a loaded shotgun by the front door and is making plans to evacuate with his family today, if he can find a road out that isn't blocked by protesters.

I'm glad I don't live in Chicago.

What about the NPR in the white T-Shirt??? He has a 2x4 but obviously he let his wife hold his sack.
 
He must have been pretty old, that golf club would have been inside that 2x4 and against his opponents head otherwise, easy upward swing and it would have been over. My guess is that the victims believe in the good in all people and didn’t expect a violent response.
