Question about LPVO scope mount?

No,
How is that mounting system slow? I assume you mean on the 12 screws to tighten?

Now is it dumb as hell?

No, it is:
- too low,
- 1 to many mounts
- forward ring is too close to the adjustment housing.

..........truthfully the rings aren't the worst part. It looks strange but it should work.

What won't work is how low the rings are. The butt stock on most Ar's are high in relation to the rail. It will difficult to get a good sight picture/cheek weld.

I'm waiting on an ADM mount in the mail but I was fooling around and did this. It zeroed. It actually isn't too low it's right at perfect. You drop your cheek on the stock and you're lined up and don't have to find the reticle. A lot of one piece mounts I've tried are higher than they need to be and your cheek "floats" when you get the eyebox lined up.

If it lines up with your eyes and has the right amount of eye relief, the mount should be OK and strong enough. I would hesitate to move the forward mount out onto the forearm.

Keep on rocking it!!
