Racheting Screwdriver

I'm looking for a screwdriver that rachets as it's pushed in and out, not rotated side to side. Anyone know a brand?

Whoa - that's really old school.

We used to call those "Yankee Screwdrivers". First introduced around 1900. Stanley made them.

Lots of new versions available on Amazon, ebay, etc.

Stanley Yankee screwdriver, I have a could of them. It's big enough that you can get both hands on it and really torque down on it. This one was on ebay.

I have a few, I’m sure that Garrett Wade still sells them. They come in 2 or 3 sizes.

Stanley, Yankee, Kings Country, you can find they on FleaBay, Amazon.
Have a few from my Dad, even the push / pull drill.
If I remember correctly the "A" version was wood handle, the "B" version
was plastic handle. Flea Bay has a bunch.
