Yes, he has done that a lot of times. The weird thing is that sometimes we can see the barrel dip and then sometimes it won't dip at all. I'm consistently inconsistent.Great shooting! If I had to guess, I would think its because you are yanking the trigger in anticipation of the recoil. Not sure if your instructor has done it, but have him load a snap cap into your pistol somewhere, then when you shoot it you will see how your hands move when you shoot.
Either way, homeboy is dead.

I told him I'm not afraid of the recoil any more, but he says my brain might be reacting even though I think I'm all good with it.
Our next session is 2-14, so I'll get him to do the snap caps....again....sometimes he puts 2 in in a row, I hate that!
But things are getting better, I think. I shot really well Monday, today was ok, but any range day is an excellent day to me.
And yes. The bad guy bit the dust!
Thanks for the encouragement!Sounds good! After a while it isn't really fear of the recoil, it can be the anticipation of it. Ive been shooting for years, and I still find myself "pushing" against the recoil and it throws my aim off. Any day at the range is a good day as long as you are safe! Very proud of you!
21 feet, maybe a bit more. What distance were you shooting?
Nice training video, covers a lot of good topics.
The Taurus has left the building. Lol. I'm still giving the p238 a workout several times a week, and still loving it.You still using the Taurus revolver?
I have had a few. At one time, the slide wasn't locking back at the end of a magazine, so I was told to clean the magazines, and that solved that. (Doing that was a huge PITA, btw!)Color me curious. With your regular shooting have you experienced ANY malfunctions with your chosen weapon? ANY and What kind If Any???
