Rat Patrol

Good kills, I have been waiting to see the rats caught in buckets, but shot ones are just as good. I havent seen many rats but the ones I saw while walking one night in Guangzhou were huge and had no fear of me at all.

I was in a 30 in pipe in front of fords theatre in DC. A rat woul run up to me and run back out of sight. It done it about several time i hit it with a maglite and that ended that. It came closer and closer every time i just couldnt concentrate on the task at hand. Plus DC wont miss one rat.

Count is 20 now. The 5 gallon bucket trap was a waste of time. I think I will make one out of a 55 gallon drum. I ain't seeing the rats very much now so I must have knocked the population down some.

The 5 gallon bucket great works on mice, I didn't consider it may be too small for rats. The 55 gallon drum or larger trash can (I've seen it work on squirrels) should do the trick.

You need a trash can for rats. You want the rotating can to be just out of reach so they are forced to decide to leave the ramp and try and position themselves on the can. They spin off and drown. Works great for mice.

Bigger animal bigger trap.

I've got a guy in the house right now I can send over to kill the rats for you...he is a professional.
