I just got mine today and tried out a few. It's the real deal. No more inertial pulling for me. I was doing it on my Lee turret and when tightening and loosening the collet, I'd spin it in the turret some so I might get a single-stage press just for this.

Midway has it on sale for $19, which is about the same as an inertial puller (aka loud plastic hammer).

(You have to buy $11 collets for each caliber).

It's worth it, in 30 minutes, I recovered 25% of what I spent on the puller- it will pay for itself quickly.

It is great, for some bullets. Some bullet profiles just don't leave enough straight bearing surface for the collet to grab, though, like SWC bullets. But for most rifle bullets, it is definitely way better than an inertia puller.

For bullets that don't leave enough meat for the the collet puller, I will sometimes use the inertia puller to get the bullet started out of the case, stopping before it comes out completely. Then I use the collet puller to finish the job. It is a lot easier to deal with the powder that way.

I just got acquainted with my RCBS gizmo pulling about 200 .308 mystery loads. The instructions say it works best with spire point bullets and that lead or soft point bullets will be mangled. It's 10x faster and 10x easier than that stupid plastic hammer.

I like my hornady lever action one. Had to polish the lever a bit but it works great
That one would work well on a turret press. The RCBS will cause the turret to spin when tightening or loosening. I bought a cheap C press to use just for pulling bullets with my RCBS.

Yeah i used mine on a Lee C loader also. With the breech lock makes it easy

I used to have a Forster puller and it did work, but I was never quite satisfied with it. Setup always seemed finicky and I always seemed to mangle bullets.

So, I gave up on collet pullers and moved to the "grip -n- pull" puller. I found it much quicker to use and no need to buy separate collets for different calibers.
