Cooked some hog jowls, and told my kids it was bacon. After tasting it my daughter said, “Daddy this is fake bacon!” I said, “I’m sorry it’s hog jowls, not bacon” My son said, “Well it tastes OK”. I said, “Kids it’s not fake, as fake bacon only comes from Canada.” My Daughter says, “Canadian Bacon isn’t real?” I said, “No it’s it’s not bacon at all, and hog jowls are even better than Fake Canadian Bacon”.
