Hey everyone. I have a question for you all. Im lending one of my ARs to my mom as she doesn’t have anything at the moment and it would make me feel more comfortable with her having a firearm of some sort (She lives in a different state; she is legally allowed to own firearms; We will be following all applicable state laws; She will be given training and a run down and has been around firearms the majority of her life). I have experience with the Aimpoint Micro H1, Trijicon MRO, and an Eotech EXPS3-0 (holographic I know). I doubt she will shoot more than once or twice a year with me so I don’t quite feel the need to drop Aimpoint micro or Eotech EXPS money but I do want something reliable and something that she won’t have to worry about. What all would you recommend? I want to prioritize simplicity, reliability, and battery life. Hoping to stick around $200-$300 if possible. Is this possible?

Right now the rifle has a Vortex Razor 1-6x on it but I will be taking that off as I want something as simple as can be for her. Pic of the rifle below.

Thank you!

Romeo 5's are durable, have killer battery life, and have auto on/off. Standard red dot, so no limited eye relief. Once you're zeroed, she doesn't have to touch it.
