Thanks to all of you who let my try out their various guns at Battery Oaks yesterday! You went beyond the call, and I appreciate it, a lot.

Now as you surely know, I can't remember all those guns, and since my secretary had to have the weekend off, could you guys please help me with a reminder?
It was great seeing you all, and thanks again!

Lol
Im interested in hearing what all you tried...and liked :)
Yeah, my secretary was whinging about working on a weekend, so I had to give him the day off! Lol.
I fired a lotta guns, and my mind is scrambled! I'm sure we'll both find out soon enough.....and I liked most of what I shot, only a few were either too fat in the grips or just too much to be comfortably handled.
Got hold of some very nice revolvers too, one of which was a "Lady" something they apparently don't make any more. Sweet!

That was a LadySmith. And, you shot a Model 19 that belonged to @old bear . And, if I heard correctly, you did much better with the Model 19.

That said, your new Rossi is almost identical in size to the Model 19. I think you're going to like it once you get to put some rounds through it.

Thanks for the info, things were moving pretty fast all day and I'm glad someone was paying attention for me. Lol.
And I'll be hitting the range with the Rossi very soon, it's really nice to shoot, and I'll give it a good workout.

The LadySmith is still in their catalog.

Which one? There have been a few at least. Basically model 60's?
I shot something that I think I was told they don't make anymore....not sure what it was or if I was really told that. Lol. It was a confusing day.

Or, that may have been a Model 66 that @Millie shot. Same as a Model 19 but in stainless steel.

Millie, it was a pleasure meeting you, and everyone else Saturday. The revolvers you were asking about were A model 65-5, Lady Smith, with a 3" barrel and a model 66 with a 2 1/2" barrel. I understand you preferred the model 66, as I do.

A big Thanks to Ronnie-Sue and Billy for opening there home to all of us.

Fred

P.s Larry enjoy the new toy.
