So I'm looking at finally building a dedicated bench for loading. It's going to be 15 foot or so long with plenty of room but, I'm looking for ideas. Show me your tips and tricks.

I built this to shoe horn into the space I had Reloading in my old garage. It's 8" long and 20" wide. I am going to build another one at some point in 2017 with 1/2" solid wood top and make it 24" wide. I'll probably bump it out to 10' and continue the bottom shelf the full length. I had an air compressor under the odd space on the right...had to really squeeze it in at my old place

I increased the height of my bench where my press is mounted. It negates the need for a strong mount. I also used a few log slices to prop up some old tupperware for brass and projectiles. Seems to work for me. Putting down a foam or rubber mat where you stand doesn't suck! The counter top is 44" off the ground if memory serves and then drops down to 35". I will load 100 standing, reload primers, and sit for 100.

I need to get some components together and come quality test this setup... ;-)

Please do!

Planning to retire this "bench" this week. $20 IKEA table got me through my first couple years of reloading. Have a hf bench to upgrade to. Will attach it once I figure out where I want to put the equipment.

Currently woodcraft has their birch countertop on sale for $119... http://www.woodcraft.com/product/161270/birch-workbench-top-112-x-27-x-60.aspx I may pick up a couple pieces to put a counter around the rest of my reloading room/office.

Here's the idea that angerhater (if that's still his name here) and I came up with for my room:

Basically a big lower cabinet with a wood top and then an upper with shelves hanging off of it. I needed a lot of counter space for 3 swage presses.

Slappy, I try to keep it neat

I just started reloading this year so my setup is fairly simple, also this pic was taken the night I built the bench so it's pretty bare. I'm planning to add a light under the first shelf to brighten it up a little.

To get out of the to hot in the summer/to cold in the winter garage I moved into half of the laundry room. Not much sq.ft. to play with. Rear and left side of the bench is 2x4's lag bolted to the studs. Top is 2 2x12's for 22" deep. Very stout bench. This is a couple years ago and much crap has been accumulated since. Brass and polishing stuff is back in the garage, bullets pretty much fill the bottom shelves and powder is on the top shelves.
Some day one of my kids may move out and a spare room open up. Have a feeling when that happens the wife will lay claim to it.

Y'all are making me jealous. I'm building my first bench this week (off work for 2 weeks for Christmas). It will be small since I'm starting out. Plans now are 50" width and 29" depth because I have a piece of MDF that size already.

Main bench is 2x12's with 3/16 plywood. 24"d x 36"w. Work bench height. Lee Classic turrent for pistol. Dillon 550 exclusively for .223 (for now). Lee classic cast for sizing, swaging and large rifle. Bench is mounted to wall and floor with tap-cons. I could mount a vise and thread pipe on this little thing.

second pic shows shelving which is actually all the way around the perimeter of the room. 10x8 room. Also shows my lil Lee used just for decapping.

i have no business having just a single stage, much less 4 presses. But I swear it's an addiction!

I'm going to be building my second Reloading bench in the next few weeks. I really want to move it to the house instead of in my out building.

Looks like 2 pro 1000s. Does the Inline Fabrication mount make that much of a difference? Thinking about making the purchase. Or should I just mount it to the bench and start cranking 'em out?

Lots of great layouts. Getting ready to move my nearly unusable location to a new area with bigger work bench I got from Lowes. Due to current situation had no room to do any reloading for the last couple of months and will be great to get the new area set up. Will post once finished. For those looking for new benches and $$$ is no issue check this site out: https://www.americanworkbench.com/the-constitution.html
