So it explodes to eliminate a threat...they must expect a force to have a steady supply. That's good business for the people selling it.

just like other tech....it will improve.
cheaper, flies longer, and all that.

The rotors are exposed. Seems like the bad guys could hang those beaded string curtains popular with hippy dippy types in the doorways and stop progress of the drone.

Hell, Boston Dynamics, architects of our replacements have the body mostly down. It's just the brain that needs work.

There's happy music and a fella that sounds like he is selling suppositories at the end. We're going to be ok.

The true "poor man's" defense is monofilament netting covering your defended areas.

That's pretty cheap for a passive defense. but you'd need a dome of it, or at least a large enough building that you could have sacrificial outer walls.

that makes even less sense then - why would they render a fake rifle?
Because rather than create every new item in a render from scratch, they make the unique stuff and then drag the rest in from library assets and someone couldn't tell the difference between a mesh of a "real" rifle and the mesh of a rifle shaped thing designed to be shoved into a mesh pack to sell to 3d modellers?

Talk about fixation on an irrelevant detail mate.....

And it's sort of hard to take with you everywhere. Great if you never leave your little mesh bubble, although that does make you a perfect target for more conventional munitions.
