Remington 1100 question

A friend has a Remington 1100 that is missing some parts. It's a 12 Gauge and he needs a complete trigger housing assembly and pins. Serial number 4877xxV. xxs are just there as placeholders for the actual numbers. Does anyone know if date of manufacture matters for the housing?

1964-68 2-3/4 gun if no letter prefix. eBay usually will have 1100 12 trigger assemblies and the pins. Most of them will fit your gun. And to be sure before you buy, ask the seller if it will fit your 1100 12ga 2-3/4 1960’s gun
