For two years in the early 1960s Remington made almost 16000 Nylon 77 semi-auto .22 rifles with a 5 round magazine. It was renamed 10C in 1972 and given a 10 round magazine... 128,000 made '72 to '78. $400 to $500 if you can find a 77 or a 10C.
If you like quality vintage .22 rifles, then you should purchase every nylon Remington in good condition that you come across, tube fed or magazine fed, if they cost less than $500. If you come across a lever action nylon Remington, you will pay a good bit more. They will last forever, and there are no rifles like 'em, anywhere!
