My apologies, I should have written it more clearly:

I'm not requesting access to the isle of Tortuga per se'. I just want to know what fun and frivolity I am missing out on by not being on the Isle of Tortuga.

The descriptions of Tortuga vs. the Basement leave quite a bit to the imagination and not a heck of a lot for one to choose up what team they want to be on.

Of course I realize that may be the point, but I still feel I should ask first.

I'd hate to be shunned without first giving a good reason to be.

I'm not sure I want to now. Maybe I'll sell my membership to the highest bidder. Sure I dunno what ya'll got going on, but no doubt I have plenty of, um stuff, I can contribute.

Now settle down folks, don't everyone bid at once, let's be orderly about all of this. I'm a person, not a piece of meat.
 
I'd like access to the isle of Tortuga, will there be rum? Or do I bring my own?
