So I have put the Rifle Basix trigger in my CZ 455. I haven't epoxied the pins yet, but I have adjusted the pull weight to about 1 lb. I also have not added the optional screw for the sear that will eliminate any creep. It is doing odd things though. While dry firing it and testing pull weights I noticed that it will have a small amount of creep on some pulls and on others it has no creep at all. I haven't lubed it, greased it or done anything else yet. I could install the sear screw that is designed to eliminate creep, but on about 1/2 the pulls there is no creep. And I think I have read that using the sear screw can cause wearing of the sear more quickly so I thought I'd avoid that if possible. Any suggestions or thoughts?

My guess is the tensioning spring on the sear is too light to do a proper reset, try increasing the trigger weight and then use the sear screw to take out the creep as well as lightening the trigger weight.

That is where I was headed. But my stubborn mind didn't want to use the sear screw. But that seems like the best way to achieve optimal results.

Talked to Rifle Basix and got some help. I needed to use the sear screw. When I tried it wouldn't thread. Rifle Basix got back to me the same day and sent me a trigger replacement in 2 days. They suspected the old sear screw wasn't threaded right. Just installed the new one and it works perfectly, I have it set to about 1 lb and there is zero creep. Now to mount a scope and shoot.
