Wasn’t a fan of the show. Don’t even think I’ve seen an entire episode. Just bits and pieces when other people were watching. Still hate to hear of someone dying so young.

My wife and daughter used to watch friends non stop. It most likely was drugs, but still sad.

He was funny in “Whole 9 Yards” Sad for his friends and family. I heard he was a raging alcoholic, I wonder if he drank himself unconscious, and then slipped under the water. However he died. It sucks.

Yea he battled addiction for a long time. I guess that's why i assumed drugs. Either way my girls are sad.

It was both drugs and alcohol if you watch the Diane Sawyer interview with him he said if you watch the show if he's heavy it's alcohol if he skinny it's pills
Id never really noticed till he pointed it out
But he swore on the interview he was clean

Matthew Perry was found dead in a hot tub at his home
I never watched friends during its fist run but began watching the reruns
Pretty good ensemble cast .
Don't know if it was drug or alcohol related
Thanks for the memories
Incoming prayers

Says he was playing pickleball then got in the hot tub which i guess can cause cardiac arrest.
A doctor was on TV this morning. The effect of playing a long, hard game of pickle ball, dehydrating your cells, then getting into the hot tub, grossly dilating your cells was likely too much for the system. Probably had history of heart disease as well.

His heart was shot from the drugs and alcohol. He had an operation years ago where his heart stopped also.

I hate it for his friends and family.

I do not understand the popularity of that show. It seems it’s for ten year girls and sub 70 IQ folk.
My wife watched it for a while, I had to leave the room. It was an effective way for her to get alone time.

I never understood the universal sadness that occurs when a celebrity dies just becuase he had a job that pays him a hoopload of money.
It comes from a familiarity people gain from seeing them, a humanistic desire not to see others die at an early age, or an appreciation of their work.

Has nothing to do with them making a ''hoopload of money''.

A “long hard game” of pickle ball?? 😂😂 have you ever seen or played a game? There’s a reason it’s popular with the senior citizen’s crowd…nothing hard about it. I’m not sure of his history with heart disease but he did have a history of doing 55 Vicodins a day so this shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone…

Homeboy was a mediocre (at best) drug addicted actor, who got his fame from an absolute atrocious sitcom. I saw the headline that he died and immediately cleared it and went to check the weather.

Yup something like this^^^^^.
The amount of celebrity worship is unreal. As I've said before, they are just people who got a very lucky break. Nothing special about them.

Never watched an episode of Friends. Just not my genre of TV. I'm only familiar with him from the headlines over the years regarding his battles with addiction and alcoholism. Sucks to see someone die who could've had many more years to live had they made some other choices along the way. RIP.

same here.
never have seen a full episode of Friends.
he must have been profitable to his boss
since his salary was apparently very large.
hard to understand his problems.

Dude, if you think PickelBall is easy, I don't think you have tried it after a fifth of Jamesons and an eightball of that Hollywood yayo.

As soon as I read this I thought about Michael Jackson and the propofol. I bet he had some shady doctor doing things off the books.

This was my thought also.... Celebs and famous people gonna do famous people things with different rules.

The only surprise here is that it was ketamine.
