Maggie Mancuso has passed. She played Charlene Darling on the Andy Griffith Show.
The episodes that include the darlings on Andy Griffith were some of the most memorable for me . The original dud wash was bob Denver and him offering to fight Andy with whittling knives and willow switches for Charlene's hand still makes me smile.

I still call my wife’s family the Darlings! Bwhahaha!

Saw "most" of the band at a little venue in Black Mountain a few years ago. I forget the reason, but Maggie couldn't make that show, which was disappointing.

The Dillards. They are a great blue grass band. They've been through a bunch of people during their tenure.
