RIP Lt. Pieter Coetze (Wild Geese)

Hardy Krueger passed away this week...always enjoyed his acting....A Bridge Too Far, Hatari, The Wild Geese, Flight of the Phoenix, etc...

93 years old... 16 years old and his Hitler Youth group was absorbed by the Waffen SS and he found himself fighting Americans...he deserted late in the war and then spent some time as a POW.

One after another, the great ones are leaving us. I remember seeing The Wild Geese at the airport cinema at the Frankfurt airport when it first came out.
