I was wondering what he mean’t by that, but not enough to ask him.

According to Twitter two jurors are holding up the decision, citing fear of backlash.
This is why I voted that he will be convicted on some kind of a lesser charge. The longer the jury takes to reach a decision the more likely they are to cut some kind of a deal with the holdouts so they can all go home.Shocker!!!! To me that means 10 are ready to acquit on all counts
I say this partially in jest, but I have wondered how it would go if the rest of the jurors decided that it was time for some percussive persuasion? This is why I voted that he will be convicted on some kind of a lesser charge. Way to go Genius. One would think since he has an outstanding warrant (felony bail jumping, misdemeanor bail jumping) he would keep a low profile. NOOOO, let's go to a protest and assault somebody.Looks like it's starting to get spicy.
Anti-Rittenhouse protester body-slams reporter outside Kenosha courthouse, arrested for battery
One of the two protesters arrested outside the Kenosha courthouse -- the man seen wearing a “F--- Kyle” T-shirt as officers took him into custody – is facing charges related to bail jumping, meaning he has a prior criminal record, Fox News Digital has learned.www.foxnews.com
Ain’t no way I would ever cut a deal! I’d sit back with my feet up on the table and say just these simple words at every vote … BEYOND A REASONABLE DOUBT! If they wanted to stay thru Thanksgiving or Christmas … hell I’d welcome in 2022 … but REASONABLE DOUBT is there for anyone with common sense and no agenda. This is why I voted that he will be convicted on some kind of a lesser charge. Understood, but the chances that one of us would have ever been selected for that jury are slim and none. I am speculating on what I think the jury will do, not what I think should happen. None of them volunteered for this mission, they are draftees, and after a few days most of them will just want to go home and be done with it. Human nature and all that. The other alternative is a hung jury, and if this drags out for more than one more day I think that's what we are going to have. In which case hopefully the judge will grant a mistrial with prejudice and let the poor guy go.Ain’t no way I would ever cut a deal! Too many things like this shoul never make it past the stupid idea stage much less in court. This country and the justice system has gone to hell, should of had a mistrial way before closing arguments.
We can only hope.Understood, but the chances that one of us would have ever been selected for that jury are slim and none. 😁😃😀😄I told a jury on a DUI trial I was on........Welllll, Y'all had better order some supper because I am NEVER voting Guilty....I was the Only hold out in the first Ballot...............................he was found Not Guilty. I have been on 2 Juries in my life...that one and one for a man charged for Burglary and being in possession of Burglary tools......Guilty on Burglary and I held out for Not Guilty on Possession of Burglary Tools. The man had a screw driver and a pair of channel lock pliers in his pocket. I asked each of the jurors how many of them could have been charged with Possession of Burglary Tools for carrying those same items. 🙋♀️Ain’t no way I would ever cut a deal!
I hung a jury on a first degree murder trial once.😁😃😀😄I told a jury on a DUI trial I was on........Welllll, Y'all had better order some supper because I am NEVER voting Guilty....I was the Only hold out in the first Ballot...............................he was found Not Guilty. There is no problem that can’t be overcome with the appropriate amount of C4.I voted Not Guilty in the poll.
However, if enough folks want to drive to the courthouse and peacefully destroy it and every business within one square mile, regardless of the verdict, count me in.
Full Disclosure: I would hope you can make sure to have a large enough dually to carry all the rifles and ammo I bring. Peaceful protests, sure, but then, any liberal shot with a .300 Win Mag will be peaceful, guaranteed💃💃💃💃💃
You're either DUI or not. There is no penalty for almost.Man blew a well under the legal limit
I was living in Chatham Co at the time. This was circa 1999. There had been a triple shooting in a trailer park in a location known for drugs and prostitution. One guy (pimp and dealer) died. Two prostitutes survived. Three men were involved. One man was on trial. But there was NO evidentiary connection between him and the event. He was arrested in NYC. The prosecution never drew a line between the trailer park in Siler City and his arrest in NYC. There was no physical evidence. Just one eyewitness who identified the defendant but knew him by a name other than his own. So there was absolutely no "beyond a reasonable doubt." What is scary is that on our first poll 10 of 12 wanted to convict. I wasn't the only holdout but I was the articulate and outspoken one. So after I poked more holes than swiss cheese in the case in the jury room there was an even 6/6 split. But still.....scary....Story?
Many have wore a dwi that blew under the legal limit due to copsplaining he was impairedYou're either DUI or not. There is no penalty for almost.
I can't remember the total I got but it was for about 2 and a half weeks. The trial seemed to drag on forever but the proof still didn't materialize. I remember the .380 FMJ bullet that got passed around that had been through the dead guy's skull. But there was no match to a gun that was linked to the defendant so why waste out time with that? When I served on my first jury (so long ago I don't even remember the alleged crime), none of us jurors had ever served before. After closing arguments we shuffled into the jury room and were sitting around the table looking at each other like, "now what?". After about five minutes, the first one to speak was an old black guy. He said, "Well, whatchoo all gonna do with your fourteen dollars?" We all cracked up and then got on with business.
I have been present on over a dozen Breathalizer tests......I will Not convict on evidence gained like that. Many have wore a dwi that blew under the legal limit due to copsplaining he was impaired
Apparently i'll never be able to stop saying this.Way to go Genius. One would think since he has an outstanding warrant (felony bail jumping, misdemeanor bail jumping) he would keep a low profile. NOOOO, let's go to a protest and assault somebody.
The more I think about it the more i like that he's waiting until the jury has a verdict. other people have discussed it here. There are plenty of grounds for a mistrial, but a mistrial, even with prejudice, is not quite as good as "not guilty". With a true not guilty, it's basically erased. he was tried and found not guilty. it's legal. mistrial with prejudice just means the prosecution broke a rule, but "he probably did it". he'll wear that stink forever. This country and the justice system has gone to hell, should of had a mistrial way before closing arguments.
yeah well, he failed the field sobriety test. and the cops are trained to detect intoxication. Many have wore a dwi that blew under the legal limit due to copsplaining he was impaired
I can't tell, so I have to ask..was this ^^^^sarcasm???? There is no inflection in the written word. Wanna make sure I understand.yeah well, he failed the field sobriety test. and the cops are trained to detect intoxication.
Many years ago Cale Yarborough was coming home from a race and was stopped on I20 between Columbia and his home in Sardis. You're either DUI or not. There is no penalty for almost.
I said DUI. Never said how it was determined. Many years ago Cale Yarborough was coming home from a race and was stopped on I20 between Columbia and his home in Sardis.
He was charged with DUI. Thanks to the video that was taken when his Breathalizer was administered he was found Not Guilty. He blew Well Over but the video proved that he was not Impaired In the Least. While there obviously has to be a point somewhere so that folks can be charged or released, some that blow .17 are not impaired where others that blow an .08 are Soused. This is where a Jury Nullification is in order.
That's because i didn't mean any sarcasm, inflection, or opinion. I was just repeating the sort of thing i've heard before.I can't tell, so I have to ask..was this ^^^^sarcasm???? There is no inflection in the written word. Wanna make sure I understand.
now f you want my opinion of that sort of reasoning... you're gonna have to ask me in the special access forums.
No, All this shit because the cops weren't allowed to do their jobs. All this s**t just because the cops didn't do their jobs.
Only if it has that sweet, delicious meringue on top 😁Or, better yet, in person over some fine nanner puddin'.
