Okay, AGAIN….. I am NOT gonna put him down. Too sweet of a dog. A pain in the ass? Yes, but sweet as sugar….
Feel free to send me any contact info for rescues or fosters. I would MUCH prefer to find this guy a home instead of putting him down. Not gonna have a dog on my property with blood taste in his mouth.
Y’all know I’ve been trying to rehome a dog that one of my guys rescued. Well, today, he crossed a line I’m not prepared to compromise on. He jumped a 4-1/2’ fence and attacked one of our 5 chickens. He didn’t kill her, but she’s got a gaping hole in her skin. That’s a whole story by itself….
He’s knocked Shari down at least 4 times, and literally drug her across the yard, and I’ve had enough……He hasn’t hurt the kids, and he’s not going to get the chance to.
Don’t get the wrong idea… this dog is sweet as sugar, but he’s HUGE!! Barely a year old (according to the vet) and already 80 pounds!!! He really is a sweetheart, but we just cannot handle him right now. I have to work, Shari is here taking care of household and outside duties, and Rubble is just a behemoth!! And now, he’s got a taste for chicken blood!!!
For the person who adopts him, I will deliver him anywhere within 150 miles of Fayetteville. I will give you 100 pounds of food, you can have his cage, and I will pay for YOUR vet to examine and microchip him. He’s been neutered and all his shots are up to date.
