Is it possible to put the newer ruger American ranch stock on a older ruger American 300blk so I can use the 10 round mags

And does anyone know if they make longer barrels for the 300blk

No. I called Ruger and asked. They said the bolt has different cuts in to pick the rounds up. Old style can only strip rounds from the center of the magazine and the new style can only strip rounds from either the right or left side of the magazine.

You might search and see if someone has a bolt modification that will allow you to switch. The new stocks aren’t that expensive and if someone can do a bolt mod you would still be cheaper than buying a new rifle.
