Back in August, I purchased a used Ruger American Rimfire, .22lr, from another Forum member. The magazine won't drop free. Open the bolt, then press down on the mag and it drops. Not as accurate as I was hoping. Torqued the action screws to 35 inch lbs. didn't help. About an inch down, on the right side of the stock tip, the stock is touching the barrel. Talked to a Ruger CS rep Friday and I was surprised. UPS is suppose to come to my house as early as Monday, with a prepared shipping label, to pick it up. No charge. He said it should be back in 8 to 10 days. I'm quite impressed. The last time I returned a firearm to Ruger, I had to travel to a shipping service in Richlands. A half hour drive and then back. I'll post on this thread how everything turns out.

My one experience with them was quite impressive.

Mine too. I took a SR1911 with a cracked slide back to the dealer and had it back in a couple weeks @ no cost. I could complain about QC but the CS was good.

A friend ruined my Ruger Redhawk 45 Colt by firing six 38-40 rounds in it... Ruger said, "Send it!" and a short while later they sent it back all better!

They understand how to make customers for life. I look forward to purchasing a Ruger Marlin 1894 in 327.

Before anyone jumps on me, I am not @MacEntyre ’s friend! 😂

Had an issue with an extractor spring on my Ruger American Rimfire. Called Ruger not only did they replace the extractor spring for free they also sent me another one for a backup and an extractor. I had the parts in 3 days, replaced the extractor spring, and was up and running. I am satisfied with their customer service and like above can not wait to see what they do with the Marlin name brand. I hoping for some really great 1894s!

My BIL sent a rusted up SA back to them. Complete rebuild and reblue. No charge. I sent in my decades old Red Label, they replaced all the springs and shipped it back no charge. A piece of the hammer/trigger (sear) on an old Security Six broke off and made the trigger pull about 25#'s. Parts replaced and shipped back no charge.

UPS picked the rifle up Monday, 10:20 am. It was addressed to the Mayodan, NC facility.

Received this email Yesterday (Tuesday) at 10:48:
"Dear Valued Ruger Customer,

We have received your Ruger firearm and are reviewing your concerns. We will work hard to address
your concerns and get back to you quickly. Our typical response time is less than one week, but we will
update you along the way so that you can track the process.

If you have any questions about your firearm, please contact Customer Service at 336-949-5200. Please
do not respond to this email, as it is sent from an unmonitored mailbox.

Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc."

I received an email from Ruger Wednesday, that my rifle was repaired. Thursday I another Ruger email, stating that UPS would be delivering it Friday, and the package would have to be signed for. Rifle was returned this morning (11/6) at 10:10. In shock! It was just picked up Monday! FIVE DAYS!!!! Ruger also supplied me with an extra mag, and a Ruger branded Silicone Gun Cloth.

Notes on the ticket:
Items Replaced: Font bedding block.
Items Repaired: Bolt Handle and Crown.
After Repair: Firearm was function fired 30 rounds of CCI, without malfunction. Firearm was then tartgeted 3 rounds of CCI, @ 50 yards, without malfunctions. Target is in closed.

The mag now drops free! I didn't have a chance today to test fire it. The target they sent me shows the three shot group was 11/16", @50 yards. I doubt I can shoot it that well.
