The "crane release button pin" on my LCRx 357 appears to be backing out. 817 rounds fired, with a huge majority of those being super light 550fps trailboss loads.
I contacted Ruger asking if I could just put it back in with some locktight as the interwebs suggest and they replied:
That jives with some of the other internet chatter. If it backs out a few times, you send it back and they say it's not repairable and send you a new gun. One dude in CA wasn't happy about that since he had to go through another NCIS check (and pay the $30 fee) and another 10-day waiting period to get his gun back.
Anyway, I'll put it back and update the thread some day if I ever get to go to the range and and if it backs out.
