Ruger/marlin 1895 skinner 45-70

Well today I got one of my dream guns, when I heard that Ruger bought marlin this went right to the top of the list.
This was one of the first to come off the line and it belonged to a good friend of mine. He passed it along to me since he knew I have been wanting one and to him it was”just another one in the collection”.
Better pictures to come in the future, but I went ahead and ordered a scout rail, and an asr mount. I would like to find a 1-4/1-6 for it, or maybe just a fixed optic.

I already messaged chief for a cheek riser, she is going to get a light tactical treatment.
Railed forend for light and nv stuff
suppressor(my break should be here shortly)
Red dot or lpvo
But also a nice leather cheek riser that can hold a few rounds

And it is my new daily truck gun, You never know when a velociraptor might make a comeback

Nice! I ended up scoping mine with a Leupold 1.5-4 x 28 on the XS rail. My cardiologist said venision and Bison are both healthy... and I don't KNOW there aren't any Bison wandering around.. lol.

That’s one I would love to own. My buddy has one and he changed out the trigger. he went from a 5 pound to 3.5. It was from Rangerpoint precision

My 1979 built 1895😁
The Leupold 1.5-4 is the newest addition. I have a rear sight made by Ranger Point Precision I ran for a while but wanted to change it up, I'm diggin it so far!!
