I'm a huge fan of S&W revolvers. I own quite a few, and always trying to talk myself out of buying more. I'm really glad to see they're sticking up for the 2A.

What you talkin' bout, Battery Boy?! Everybody knows S&W loved the 2nd so much they engineered a special hole behind the cylinder release to lock the Freedom in!

I am glad to see they released that statement as a public response to the hostile shareholders who set out with the express purpose of harming the company. That said, I take it with a grain or twelve of salt, and understand their current position likely has a shelf life directly related to shifting political winds. Again, glad to see this is where they stand now, and hope I'm wrong.

Billy you are right. And kowtowing to the Clintons in the 90s and keeping that stupid lock still leaves a sour taste....but I'm all about the present state of affairs of the 2A. For instance Bill Ruger and 10rds BS....
