That is a fine choice, but once you learn about pastrami your life will change. Life is full of excellent options. I still break out a PBJ once in a while. Probably not enough..

Cuban bread ...man would get that all the time wben I was in Key West, put that in a toaster oven with some sharp cheese on it. Yum. Breakfast would be Cuban bread with butter ( toasted ) some crawfish / grits with cheese, maybe an egg or 2

Took me years and multiple attempts before I could make it correctly!!


The 'best Keys' breakfast I ever had was a fresh blackened Mahi sandwich with some cheese grits and a touch of lime juice.

One of my favorite meals is a sandwich. When I had my cancer surgery I came out of with trismus (think a type of lockjaw) so I can't really eat sandwiches anymore unless they are really thin. I miss big, fat, meat-cheese-veggie filled sandwiches.

Saturday afternoon, no band gig, no family events, no agenda…. Plenty of time to create an artistic masterpiece….

Middle of the week, 100mph, too much 💩 to do, shuffle it like a deck of cards, throw some Miracle Whip or Duke’s mayo on it, shove it down the pie hole, and let it make poop. Chase it with salt and vinegar Pringles and some unsweet tea

I hear ya..ate some great food when I was there, all kinds of seafood..grits fixed with about anything added. Key lime juice here and there.
Even Cuban coffee with Cuban bread.. for breakfast.

Man ....that San-wich looks good, my kind of recipe, plenty of garlic
Gonna try it. Then make the bread with some Spiced yellow rice, black beans, picadillio, Key lime pie for desert made with that good lime jce. Love to cook but don’t like the "clean up" afterwards.
