Does anyone know if the distance the bolt moves varies with the chambering (308 vs 300 Win Mag)? One of the things that I have always liked about Lee Enfields is that the short bolt travel allows me to maintain a cheek weld. Things get a little more complicated with the Impulse, since the length of pull can be varied. It is entirely possible that at max LOP, cheek weld can be maintained, but I have short arms and prefer a shorter stock. In most of the videos that I have seen of the Impulse, the shooter moves his head when running the action. I have not been able to handle an Impulse yet and wonder if I would poke myself in the eye with a 308 or 6.5 Creed action?

Anybody heard price rnage? Didn’t see anything in the article.
