SCOTUS to discuss Biden rule change re: unlicensed sellers

Glad to see the lawsuit. I’m guessing that all of the states on the lawsuit have Republican governors and attorney generals. I guarantee you that Josh Stein and Roy Cooper have no problem at all with the new rule.
And will prosecute it using our money to the fullest while disagreeing with local sheriffs holding illegals for ICE

NC is not one of the participants?
NC will never be part of these things as long as Stein or his activist lefty friends are in the AG’s office.

I'm not very familiar with the politics of NC. It seems the state is never on board with second amendment issues or other important hot political issues as well. For posts I know some of you are very knowledgeable to the subject so please relay . I can't be the only out of state guy that is not up to par with NC politics. I think the south needs NC in this bunch.;)

The Texas coalition includes Louisiana, Missouri, and Utah. Their lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court Northern District of Texas Amarillo Division.

The Kansas coalition includes Arkansas, Iowa, Montana, Alabama, Alaska, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, New Hampshire, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wyoming. Their lawsuit was filed in U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas Delta Division.

Both lawsuits have gun owners included as plaintiffs.

Also Florida did their own lawsuit.

It makes no sense. Trump won the state in 2020. We have two Republican Senators. The Lt Gov is a Republican. Yet somehow the idiot Democrat Governor won re-election in 2020.

And then there’s this nonsense for AG:

I do not believe, for one second, that corrupt SOB received enough legitimate votes to take the office.

He was installed, so him and “Bush Baby” Cohen could run roughshod over folks with Covid protocols…and it seems she was so adept at tyranny, they wanted her at the federal level…she’s now the Director of the CDC.

Wait and see….in November, if the presidency is given to Mr. Potato Head, again, Rotten Roy will get a cabinet position.

20k ballots were "found" in the trunk of a car in Durham.

He was on the television every afternoon to guide us through Covid. That’s a politician’s dream.

He vetoed every piece of pro business legislation, yet when a business relocated here, he was there to cut the ribbon and WRAL and all the other media made it sound like he was the one that brought them here.

I’ve never gotten this either. Seems NC goes red on the Fed level and blue on the state and local levels. Craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Well not the craziest but it’s up there lol.

Agree…the 2020 results never made sense. When you look at votes cast, at least 200,000 people that voted for Trump also had to vote for Roy (or there were 200k voters that abstained from casting a presidential vote and only voted for Gov), and I have always found that suspect.

That's a very smart move on the part of the states, suing the ATF in three different districts, each of which is in a different appeals court circuit. While wins in all three courts would be nice, a loss in one circuit would set up a circuit split for the Supreme Court to resolve.

Cooper never really did anything to piss the public off. He ended up being a bit milk toast on his Covid response. He played the middle pretty well. Even though I disagreed with a ton of it. Then you had Dan Forest cowering in fear of the media after his fundraising party got blown out of proportion. He never came the the Western part of the state that I remember. You had a worthless Republican running against a center to slightly center left Democrat that was in office. As much as I think it pains Cooper, he's a Clintonesque democrat. He does not govern too far left, because he knows it's a looser position still in NC. Not really a surprise Dan could not take Cooper down. He sucked as a candidate.

NC was a Democrat state for decades until the early 70s, after which it was generally 50/50 until 2010. The state was gerrymanderd by the dems to insure their hold until the 70s. It makes me laugh everytime the democrats cry crocodile tears about evil republican gerrymandering.

I hope the U.S. Supreme Court rules the latest federal "interpretation/rule" is unconstitutional.
Then all the politicians associated with the change should be found guilty of treason and punished to the fullest extent of the law. They did willfully violate the Constitution, right?
