I called the restaurant and they said no problem about the private room. Just show up. :rolleyes: I'm gonna leave them a note with CFF on it so if any losers show up to send them our way. o_O

Man I was close by but couldn't swing it. My FIL got his appetite back today so I ran into E-town Food Lion for some things for him. Walking in and out of there I looked over at the restaurant and said "Maybe I can pop in for a few minutes." But I figured if he was actually feeling like eating I should run on back and make it happen.

My work schedule would not allow any changes on the one last night but I'd like to try and attend a future event..........Elizabethtown, Fayetteville, or Whiteville fit really great for me. How about others?

My appreciation goes out to the ones who put this last one together for our southeast group.

Great time indeed! I think a wise man said what we lacked in quantity, we made up for in quality. Or maybe a wisea.... @Downeast, thanks for pulling this together.

Dang! I just saw this. I'm in Fuquay but would gladly head down to Fayettenam to have lunch with you fine upstanding folks....and the rest of you too. If the weather was nice, I'd even head farther east on the bike. Not this weekend though. Mrs. bkv and I are heading to the mountains for the weekend. Y'all enjoy and I'll catch up with you another time.
 
Count me and the Bride in. Depending on road conditions if anyone would like to burn some ammo :eek: we can meet that morning at my range before taco time. I'm still trying to put together some form of pistol range but I have steel hanging out to 900 yards. Hung these right before dark. I have a couple of pepper poppers too. This is soft steel but should work for your average pistol loads.

I'm in a bit of a quandary right now about making the lunch tomorrow. I found out yesterday ,that a friend of mine was to buried tomorrow, in Warsaw, at 11 am. The wife said she would go to the funeral and represent our family. Problem solved? Wrong!

Tonight my conscience is bothering me about the funeral. There will be other luncheons. I'll post early tomorrow and let you know if I will be there, or not. 303hunter called me tonight and I couldn't answer. Maybe he will read this?

Larry, my friend, attend your friends funeral. There will be plenty of other times we can get together. I’m sorry for your loss.
