I have been thinking I would carry some tools and such in the back of my truck which has a Leer camper shell. Then I thought of the crappy little lock on it. In my search of the internet, I could not find any good solutions for this. Any of you have any ideas and/or products that would make it more secure? I know they can always bust out a window but right now thinking of lock security (crime of opportunity). Most just want to do what is easy and quiet. Thanks for your thoughts!

Tool box with a false bottom or an ammo can with good lock on it?

I'd find or build a stout lockable box that could be bolted thru the bed floor. Can't really harden most toppers. Dad put hasps and locks on them, I always thought it was funny considering all the glass.

Yes I did that on an older truck -just don't like the look of that. I guess because of the glass is why they don't put more high security locks on.
