I'm going to sell one of my pistols. Probably the Buckmark. I have a AT3 red dot on it now. It is more appealing to sell with a sight or not? I see them advertise both ways but hard to tell if the sight made a difference or not.

I guess I can leave it on the pistol but offer a price reduction if it's not wanted. Sure makes shooting a lot more fun for those of us who can no longer see the irons very well.
I think the option is always nice especially if it's discounted as a bundle. There are others out there who say things like "includes red dot" and it's somehow $400 above MSRP. Red dot included in the price more like... people aren't stupid. If I wanted to pay full price for a pistol and red dot I'll go pay full price for a non-used firearm.
More often than not people will approach and ask if you'll sell without X Y Z so it doesn't really matter.

I appreciate the input. I've been thinking about offering the pistol, red dot, and a brick of Blazer ammo (the pistol still needs some break-in shooting) for a price and see if anyone wants to remove items as you suggested. But, I don't want to over-complicate this thing.
I would go with that.. you can always go ala-cart if the prices work for you. The red dot can be a good selling point also.Happy selling..
