Shotgun recommendations for 5' 3" 120 pound female

I posted in a somewhat related discussion a recommendation of checking out the Tristar Viper G2 Compact which has a version of two different stocks with two different LOPs Maybe this offering can meet your needs. In other shotgun forums I visit, the Tristar is well regarded.

The biggest thing I would be sure of is that the gun either fits well out of the box or has aftermarket stocks available that will fit. If recoil is a serious concern, make sure the recoil pad on the gun is good and you can add recoil reducers (most often into the stock) to help soften it.

One big thing I teach smaller statured shooters about shotguns is not to stand upright but rather take something of a marathon runner's start stance with their weight over their front foot. That allows the recoil to stand them up more but not push them over. Likely not workable for bird hunting though.

Browning Silver field micro Midas, that’s what I bought my wife. She loves it! I bought my daughter a Benelli M2 20ga. Both are great guns, and neither have given us any problems. It really boils down to what will fit her the best, and what feels most comfortable in her hands. Doesn’t matter how nice or reliable a shotgun is, if it doesn’t fit you, reliability will be a mute point.
