Show This Weekend - Greenville

Thank you for posting this. I've been to one of their shows (Rocky Mount). I'm looking for one thing in particular. Doubt they will have it being a small show, but I'll ride over when I get off work and check it out.

I've been to the Wilson one. Maybe they will have more or different vendors in Gville.

Is this a typical gun show, which a bunch of AR type stuff? Or is it strictly a revolver type show?

When in Wilson, they had a variety of vendors: AR type, shotguns and rifles, all handguns, ammo, range bags, military collectibles, knives, etc. That was before the pandemic. I'll know more after Saturday afternoon. I believe "6 Shooters" is just a name.

OK, thanks. Was thinking of driving to Wilmington for that show, but Greenville is much closer, so I think I'll head north Saturday instead.

@Newt I won't be able to make the show Saturday. Have to work until 12 then have a meeting at 2:30. If you go would you (or anyone that attends) post how it is? Want to see if it's worth going to on Sunday.

If you'll PM me Saturday late I'll let you know what I think about it. Heading up there tomm morning.

I went, was ok, high pice ammo, no reloading, pretty guns they were proud of. Guess it depends on what you're looking for. Did get a ifak not too bad a price

I went. OK, but a little small. Lots of ammo starting at $1.00/rnd. Premium 380 was $2.35/rnd.. A lot of AR type rifles -.22RF around $500, 223 around $800 on up. Few hunting type rifles. A lot of knives, nylon bags, holsters, military clothing. A good amount of handguns. Some reasonable and some totally outrageous! I saw a nice Dan Wesson 9mm ECO but $1600 is a bit out of range.

There was one jerky vendor. expensive. I tried the mild and hot. I couldn't tell a difference. I also had to buy a soda on the way out to wash the aftertaste from my mouth. Yuk!

One good part is only $5 entrance fee.

Thank y'all for the report. Any accessories (magazines, etc) to speak of? Sounds like if one were going for actual guns and ammo they should stay home.

I saw right many mags and such. Didnt look for specifics. Plenty of holsters, but I guess it depends on what you want.

If that's the same jerky vendor, last time I saw them I actually told them they should have a cat available.

The lady said huh?????
You know so I could lick its ass to get the taste outta my mouth.

She seemed offended

I could have gotten there in about 12 minutes. I almost went. Glad I didn't bother.

I'm all for the free market. I hope all the vendors did well. I'm just not in the desperate camp... yet.
