It's real. I bought this box of saltines last week.

Sold by volume or weight? I posted a similar pic on another forum and was roundly trashed. There are some dumb folks in the world.
So another member had an older box of crackers and did a comparison shot

I wonder what the explanation from Kellogg's is?

I noticed this when I bought a box of Premium Saltines.

Pretty blatant shrinkage.

They ain't even trying to hide it either... they are using up all the previous sized packaging.

A lot easier to see than, say...Copenhagen. Same Weight, but now, I just have more dirt and worms for weight.

my cheerios box got taller, but narrower and thinner.
hard to fit it in the cubby now, and i get less cereal out of it

Everything is less bang for the buck these days. Open a can of any kind of veggies or anything and it's half liquid to make weight. The chip companies has been selling people air and a few chips for decades. Stuff don't seem as fresh either like there stamping longer expiration dates on Everything so it can set on the shelf longer to get a sell. Even a loaf of bread is smaller then it was.

We really have been shot back in time to the 70s and the only similar thing is a lousy President. This time we don't have the cool cars, music, chick's, and while weed is everywhere, you can't afford to partake and drool all damn night because they had to potent it up about 100x. Oh, and we are all fat asses compared to our 70s selves.

I'm a grumpy old man. Effn' Great!

Boxes of dry cereal are approaching single serve size.

Who do they think they're kidding?

Interestingly, the last box I bought of these had major shrinkage. This box is “normal” and was just bought.
