I'm curious if anyone has one of the Legion series Sigs (DA/SA). I'm looking to pick up another Sig and really like what I see with the Legion series. Adding everything up, it seems like a pretty good deal vs a standard model. But, I haven't had a chance to own one so I thought I'd check here. Anyone own one or had a chance to compare in person?

I've also found a deal on a P229 Extreme for $770 which is extremely tempting but I'm hesitant since I was originally looking for a P226 first and the Extreme line seems to be retiring. Thoughts are still welcome though.

If you can get out this way you can try a 226 with SRT/E2 grip, against the 226 legion. There's also a 228, a M11A1, and a 229 legion that you could try as well. Based on my experience the legion is worth the extra money in both sizes.

Thanks for the invite. Unfortunately it'll be several months before I'll make it that far east.

Offer stands if you need it.

I have both the 226 and the 229, as Sig's go, these are really good ones, the Grey trigger is very smooth, the X-ray sights are useful, my 229 is a carry gun and it is extremely accurate...

The only issue with Legion's lately is they seem to be pricing themselves out of the market...

I have the Legion in SAO, so I can't tell you about the DA trigger pull. A friend of mine who is a very decent bulls-eye type shooter shot my gun, reset the trigger and shot the second round. Both were dead center X at 7 yards, in the same hole. He pulled the gun down and just looked at it in disbelief, and I thought he might cry.

Well she followed me home today. I couldn't stand it anymore. Thanks for the info folks.

There's only one thing better...
