Can anyone out there tell me if this red dot is a good sight. I want to put her on my AR. I took 2 of them on some ammo trade yesterday. I know there is a big price drop, so maybe they are discontinued from Sig. Any scoop will help. Thanks in advance.

I was given one as a gift and my son has been using it on a .22 for about six months

The dot is fine, no issues with daylight or anything. So far the only complaint I’ve seen is that mounts for it seem to be as much price wise as the optic itself
