Friends and fellow members, I learned a valuable lesson today, one which I do not feel very good about. I purchased a pistol in 2004 from a dealer who expressed to me that it was factory new, from a surplus supply in a Police Department in the midwest and never issued. I have had this pistol since then, and never fired it. To me, it was pristine, and I decided to sell it. Everything was accomplished, Bill of Sale completed, and pistol was transferred to new owner. I later learned from the buyer that the pistol had been fired, and had been issued previously, prior to the dealer receiving it. I sold it in good faith, based on what I was told, but I feel really rotten right now, and feel that I should just sign off of the forum completely. My apologies to everyone who welcomed me aboard, I am not a bad or dishonest person. Best wishes to you all.
