First time I've ever heard of a gun show happening in Selma, much less Johnston County!

The 6 Shooters Gun Show – Selma will be held next on May 22nd-23rd, 2021 with additional shows on Aug 28th-29th, 2021, in Selma, NC. This Selma gun show is held at Loyal Order of Moose and hosted by 6 Shooters Gun Shows. All federal, state and local firearm ordinances and laws must be obeyed.

Anyone ever been to one of these before?

I know they have hwy 70 festooned with signs for this.

I did the Sixshooter Show in Wilmington, NC earlier this year. I did find a deal from a local vendor who had a terrible booth location. I'm sure his lack of exposure had everything to do with the sale. I didn't take advantage of him as we both got a fair deal. 2 day show I went 2nd day about 2 pm. and spent a hour or so on the lanes of tables.
I bought a hat and a very nice 1911 in mint condition.

I did and I wouldn't recommend it. Was in and out in 10 min.

I salute them for trying (and for their awesome marketing on highway dept signs!)

How was the price of guns and ammo there. Earlier this year in Wilmington it appeared new gun buyers were snapping up way overpiced ammo and crazy priced guns.
How was the vendor turn out 12 or less?

Gun prices were ok...not insane, high but not ridiculous. Only one person selling ammo and it was ridiculously high. There was probably 15-20 gun sellers along with some purse and bumper sticker vendors too.

Sounds about like the same #s vendors that we had in Wilmington. We did have 2 ammo vendors tho, both were sky high pricing but people were paying those prices that didn't have ammo.

i understand supply and demand but for some reason price gouging ammo really gets under my skin. I really hope people that do all that gouging have a hard time sleeping
guess im glad i didn't show up, my wife already complains about the amount of purses i have🤣
