Sixshooters is having a show in Shelby this weekend at the fairgrounds. We will be there. Anyone else going?
 
Just curious why you chose Six Shooters over the C&E show in Hickory?

I was already signed up for Sixshooters when C&E hatched the idea to jam another gun show into Hickory between the January and March shows. I'm not one to bail on a promoter when I'm signed up, so to Shelby I go.

It may turn out better, as LeeMajors stated.

I didn't realize the Hickory show was a last minute addition. You think they may be trying to capitalize on the current "panic" ?

No doubt about it. This weekend was supposed to be Dixie Charlotte, which was cancelled by the venue. C&E is trying to draw crowds who would have otherwise gone to Charlotte.
 
I have friends coming into town but I might try to make it over there.
 
So, the Shelby Waffle House is filled with normal people at 6:30 in the morning.

Kinda sorta along the same lines ... Greensboro cancelled that big show but sure as hell welcomed the ACC’s moving the 2021 ACC basketball tournament there from DC the 2nd weekend in March ... a liberal led city pushes their gun control agenda any way they can.

I couldn't make it out either. Could not talk eveyone into it and it would have been rude for me to go by myself.
 
Turnout was decent, but the show never got packed. Weather and the Hickory show both hurt it, I think. Crowd was pretty tight with a dollar. In normal times, it would have been a good show for the venue. It was so-so at best for the current market.

How was the show for ammo? What was the going rate for 9 mm? Is it still going on today?
 
Show is 10-4 today. Brass 9mm ball is $50 a box and up, depending on brand.

Decent supply of ammo, but not overloaded with everyone and his brother selling ammo, like some shows we’ve had recently.
