My ability to be a cheap ass thrifty paid off with a store sale, the $50 rebate on J-frames, and a cash discount leaving a new 442-1 at a smokin' deal. I did a quick check in the store and went home. I started my 1,000 dry-fires to smooth out the trigger when I noticed that the trigger would stick during the reset. Didn't improve after a hundred or so dry-fire, so I decided to call S&W support.

A three minute phone call to Big Blue gave me a paid shipping label. It was about two weeks time before I got the email that it was returning. Important to note that during this time, my rebate was processed and sent before the repair was even done. Anyways, got it back in hand with a note that the sear was defective and replaced.

Overall, a very positive experience with S&W support on par with Glock. I also have come to appreciate the Centennial much more over standard hammers and the Bodyguard. Once you start really working with the Centennial, it forces you to "get gud" which in turn pays off when you pick up any other handgun.

Finally, ammo manufacturers CEOs should be flogged in the streets for the current pricing on .38 Special except the based Koreans at PMC who have been driving down market prices on many calibers.

Never found canted sights and a Hillary hole on a Glock...

Now you have grasshoppa.
