Man, I really didn't need to see that!

Love my ESS, but always wanted to try these. What a great deal!

I have a set of clear trifocal safety glasses that were custom made by my eye doctor. They work well and are impact resistant.

They don't look as cool as the Oakley's though.

I've looked at these several times at the Oakley store. This is a solid price for sure.

How flat are the earpieces? One of the issues I have is gaps around the ear cushions of hearing protection caused by wide or bulky earpieces on glasses that allows sound energy to leak through.

  • Thin Stem technology enables compatibility with over-ear hearing protection and hand held radios

I'd be curious to try these. I have some nice prescription Oakleys, but the thick stems definitely reduce the effectiveness of ear pro, forcing me to double up with plugs and muffs.

The ESS crossbow are very very thin.
Man I love those.
I think they are made by oakley

I usd to double up, especially when shooting close to hard cover due to reflected sound, until I bought some Howard Leigh Impact Pros (not Sports) 30NRR. They are the bomb. Not real great for rifle shooting because they are bulky and interfere with cheek weld, but great for pistol shooting. And only about $70. Find them on Amazon.

I used to have a lot of problems with muffs and cheek weld. I went to a much more square stance (used to be too bladed) and it eliminated that problem.
Might be worth looking into FG.

I realllllllllly want these but I'm terrible with my glasses which is why I buy cheap ones. My wife also knows the O means $$$. It's not like I can stick with buying CZs because they look similar and get it by her :D

If I had glasses I could actually see through that would be one less excuse I have for lousy shooting.

Whenever y'all decide you have too many, I'm buying.

Mine are on the way. I'm too sexy for my shirt, and I'll look good in Oakleys.

I guess I need to return these to Amazon. They arrived today. I was already thinking about new glasses. These are the ones I ordered before the Oakley's. Dang you all!

How do you like them?

They are comfortable and very light. Ear pieces are thinner than other glasses I wear so going under a hat or ear pro is more comfortable. They are large and have allot of coverage which is good but they do feel a little "Stevie Wonder-ish" to me. My biggest concern though is they don't seem dark enough for my likening. Not sure what they be like on bright sunny days. Jury's still out.....

Was looking into it, and the arms are compatible with the medium size lenses (called "spoil" instead of "reap"). So you could buy spoil lenses if you wanted later on.

I have both sets of prizm lenses in other oakleys. They are good for sunny days and overcast for me. I will say though the darker red ones do not let me see a red dot on my rifle, and it is hard to pick up a red fiber on my pistol.

The coatings on some of these lenses really cut out the UV and stuff, so I have found that even if they seem a bit light for sunny days, they actually perform a lot better than you think they will. Cutting all the glare and whatnot really helps!

mine arrived today... One day shipping!
