So I'm shopping for a PPS M2...

I think the weight of the M2 (21.1) is misleading also. Recall a Hickok 45 review at 23.5 oz, only .3 oz lighter than a Glock 26. I am an M1 owner and appreciate the weight balance which seems to steady the recoil a lot.

For you PPQ owners, if you're looking for extra mags and don't want to drop the $40-$45 for mags, there is an option. You can get an interchangeable mag from Magnum Research (it's the MR Eagle version --- the one for the Baby Eagle won't work). I got mine for $32 incl shipping from Gun Mag Warehouse. Got it today, and it's about what you'd call a perfect match.

There's a reason, Walther makes the frames for the Magnum Research guns.

The PPS M2 is my EDC right now, and I love it. It's pushed the XD-s to the back of the safe. Feels like they came to my house and measured my hand and went back and made a gun to fit it. And I shoot better with it than any of my small guns.
