So PSA is making a Glock clone starting at $299 (DAGR/Dagger)

I have a Vedder light tuck for a G19. Wondering if it would fit that specifically.

PSA's forum has a Dagger holster thread:

So I'm curious on the trigger setup. Is it like the Glocks since it's built on the gen 3 patent?
I read through the posts, but don't recall seeing anything specific on the trigger setup.

So they’re gonna release a micro version, and a full-size version…and a 22LR version, but I’m not sure of size(s) on that one.

I can't speak for it fitting directly but I modified a g19 vedder to fit a poly 80. And the dagger is closer than a poly 80. Harbor freight heat gun and somegun foam and it'll work fine.

Can someone give me a solid reason why not to get a PSA dagger as a back up 9mm or one to give to a friend who is just getting into shooting?

I half ass have a response

They had an issue of the trigger pin walking. Wouldn't buy it as a primary edc until you have vetted it as not having QC issues.

If you have a second pistol to use while testing out a dagger. Then no, there is no reason.

I have two daggers. They really are great quality handguns. And the components are really cheap to buy and switch parts around.

Glad to see the full-sized Dagger offering.
I’m probably going to wait until some color and slide cut variations become available though before getting one on the way.
I'll probably grab an odg g17 "upper" once they are available. The g19 ones are so cheap you can't beat it for a 80% build.

You should not get one.
You should get two

Or three.
3 is good enough for Dale...it should be good enough for all of us.

So it shall be.

Once I finish paying a stupid amount to fix my cars headlights...and pay off a hunting trip...and buy my son a shotgun...

Oh the freakin list just never relents.

Pretty interesting stuff... I have high hopes for my dagger. I really appreciate the forward mounted irons and think it's wild that no one else is offering it as a factory option, except for PSA.

I do that now with the original Dagger. Unlike how I feel about my undershorts, I have no problem with a little sticking out of the bottom.
I much prefer not to have that dangle, it just irks me.

Any full proof suggestions for an inexpensive magwell that will make the compact Dagger (19) a little better?

I use those (or maybe the X-grips version) on some G22 mags I’ve dedicated to my G23.

Had my Dagger out at the range yesterday, and it still surprises me as to just how good a pistol this thing is. Continues to function flawlessly, and the trigger (which was already better than a factory G19) continues to improve with round count. As I got tired, I was shooting better groups out of the dang thing than I was with my Rival. My daughter loves the thing too, and shoots it better than any other pistol I own outside of the Ruger .22. Will likely be on the lookout for an RMR cut version soon (I have the Docter cut version from when they were on sale for $299). Wish they would come out with a G17 version of it.

I had no idea they were making a full sized version, or the long slides. I'd actually prefer the long slide on the compact frame for better concealment/comfort, since my hands get full purchase on a compact frame anyways. Sounds like that's the way to go, thanks!

They have the Dagger X slides (19L) and Full size frames so you can make your own 17. I may have missed it but don’t recall seeing them advertise a complete 17 size Dagger.

In the reviews someone posted a pic of a G17 and Dagger S frame + Dagger X slide.

I just wish they offered a X-slide with forward set irons.

Agreed, long slide and compact frame is what I want next. Waiting for the X slides to go on sale, then I’ll swap out one of my P80’s or the Dagger for the X slide.
